    Music Summer Programs

    Summer music programs for middle and high school students include ones centered on performance for vocalists and instrumentalists; conducting; musical theater; arts management; digital sound and technology; and teaching, among others. Genres range from Bach to rock, and instruments from classical cello to opera to drums. These programs are a chance to work with professional musicians, composers and conductors, as well as talented peers. Summer music programs can offer day or residential options. They are held on boarding school, college or university campuses; at conservatories; and at traditional summer camps. Some offer college credit. Our listings have summer music programs to fit all schedules and budgets.

    UNC Asheville Pre-College Program: Music Composition & Songwriting

    Develop creative and performing skills through exercises in composition, song-writing, and improvisation.
