Game Design Summer Programs
The world of video and online games requires all kinds of skills, including graphic arts, engineering, game theory, programming, storytelling, digital sound and light design, and game production. Video-game-design summer programs give high school students the chance to work with the latest software tools and learn how a game is developed from start to finish, or to work on a specific piece of the gaming process. These summer programs, held on campuses across the United States, often have access to professional-level gaming software and to experts who work in the video-game industry.
