    Game Design Summer Programs

Game design is a cutting edge STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) career track. Students can mix their love for creativity and technology by enrolling in summer game design programs and learning to create video games by honing multidisciplinary skills like coding, computer science, robotics, animation, web design and electronics. While game design is not traditionally taught at high schools, there are great game design summer programs and pre-college programs held at colleges and universities across the country. Whether students are interested in 3D modeling, gameplay programming or level design, they can build portfolio-boosting projects, learn critical game industry insights, and connect with talented peers and mentors. Industry professionals and academic faculty offer hands-on educational workshops, clinics and academies. Day and residential programs are available.
