Digital Arts and Graphic Design
Middle and high school students with a passion for art and a penchant for technology can take their skills to the next level by enrolling in a Digital Arts and Graphic Summer Program. Hosted by colleges, camps and institutes, these STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) programs are on the leading edge of several fields. Participants can take courses in drawing and painting, illustration, design and digital media, animation, game art, Photoshop, web design and more. Faculty and professional instructors teach and collaborate with students on projects. Students can earn college credit and/or build a portfolio for use in college and beyond. The programs take students to centers of art and digital media, including New York, Washington, DC, Los Angeles and Baltimore. Trips to museums, galleries and professional studies bolster students' experience and improve their work.
The Montana Blackfeet Reservation is a legendary VISIONS program that remains a life-changing memory for people who participated three decades ago. We are welcomed by local friends, elders, the Brave Dog Society, and other tribal members who work diligently to serve their community while also preserving traditions and bringing back the Blackfeet language.
