Journalism Summer Programs
There are middle and high school summer journalism programs to fit all interests, whether you work on the school newspaper or want to create your own blog. Summer journalism programs teach writing, web and broadcast skills in combination with reporting, research and ethics. Students learn how to interview, meet deadlines, engage readers and influence public policy. Some programs specialize in particular areas, such as science writing. Some journalism programs are on college campuses; other are sponsored by leading organizations such as The New York Times.
