YMCA Camp Chickami is a traditional summer day camp located in Wayland, MA. Camp Chickami is located on Route 20 in Wayland, MA. All summer long, campers ages 6 to 15/Grades 1-10 spend their days with enthusiastic counselors and friends in the great outdoors.
Campers participate daily in traditional day camp activities like soccer, basketball, swimming lessons, and the low- and high-ropes challenge courses. But it is the not-so-traditional activities and events that campers talk about for years. Ever heard of Mud Soccer or Ultimate Sneaker?
CAMP CHICKAMI LEADER-IN-TRAINING (LIT) SESSIONS
Leader-in-Training sessions provide our oldest campers (youth entering grades 10) a way to transition from camper to counselor. LITs gain valuable leadership skills and take on more responsibility at camp. LIT sessions are 2 weeks.
