    Overview

We have everything you want for your child and everything your child wants this summer. We are 100% unplugged - no screens, no apps, no social media stress. We explore all day long! With 100 private acres in sunny Los Angeles, the opportunities for fun are endless. The Tumbleweed experience is filled with all sorts of activities so campers can try out new hobbies, enjoy old past times and make new friends.

Tumbleweed South is the best summer camp experience for your little one! Perfect for campers entering PK-2nd grade, this program is designed to foster growth and development in a safe and nurturing environment. Activities are child centered, helping campers learn new skills and build social competencies. Please note: your child must be at least 4 years old when starting camp.

Tumbleweed North is designed for campers that are entering grades 3 through 8. This program focuses on making friends, gaining independence, and being able to share the responsibilities of working as a team through various traditional and unique day camp activities.

Our counselor-in-training program is available to high school students (rising 9th and 10th graders) who aspire to work with children and learn leadership skills.  Additionally, CITs should show responsibility, enthusiasm, and a willingness to grow.  CITs volunteer for a four-week-long session, contributing their time and effort in exchange for valuable work experience and training.
