Explore the issues that impact the world, make headlines and are important to you. Summer Academy gives students the opportunity to pursue their passions and learn from New York Times journalists and other thought leaders who bring real-world expertise into the classroom. Our online courses help students develop their intellectual curiosity.
Each Summer Academy course draws on the current global cultural landscape and industry insight to provide students with in-depth explorations of subjects that impact the world and make headlines.
Summer Academy is open to current high school students, rising 10th – 12th grade based on the grade the student is entering in the Fall 2021 school year as well as Graduating Seniors. Students must be 15 years old by the first day of the program and no older than 18 years old by the end of the program. If admitted, students will be invited to enroll.

Cost and Session Information
Two-week programs throughout June, July and August; students may enroll in more than one term.
Requires the completion of an online application and submission of supplementary materials.
Each two-week online course is $2,850, plus a $75 tech fee. Students may enroll in multiple terms for a 10% tuition discount.
