Point Park University: Summer Dance Workshop
Overview
The Summer Dance Workshop at Point Park University is a two-week dance Intensive designed to build students' technique, etiquette, and choreography comprehension. The curriculum includes daily technique classes in ballet, jazz and modern. Commuters or residential options available.

Technique classes are offered in ballet, jazz, and modern as part of the daily curriculum (each with a live accompanist). Participants then choose between pointe, tap, or core strengthening classes to round out their schedule. If pointe is selected, student must have prior experience as the fundamentals will not be addressed. No prior experience is necessary for tap or core classes.
Choose from 1-week or 2-week options to best fit your schedule. If registering for the 1-week option, students must attend the first week of classes.
Sessions are held in state-of-the-art studio space which includes Marley-covered sprung floors to help prevent wear and injury to bones, joints, and muscles.
