Overview

At the Mississippi State University Conservation Camp, the hands-on activities and lessons engage, educate and inform high school students about nature-based science, resource management, and natural resource careers. 

Mississippi State University Conservation Camp topics include wildlife, forestry, aquatic ecology, forest products, current environmental issues, and outdoor recreation.

Learn through first-hand experience about the ecology, science, techniques and careers associated with managing and conserving Mississippi's wildlife, fish and forests. Enjoy outdoor recreational opportunities like canoeing and fishing while sharpening your outdoor knowledge.

Cost and Session Information

There may be limited space in the Wildlife Recreation Camp (June 14-17). Please contact Leslie Burger at Leslie.Burger@msstate.edu if you are interested in this camp. Online registration is closed.
