LINC Summer High School Program

Overview

During this six week program, local high school students assist with service projects, attend leadership workshops, and take field trips to special park sites (like Alcatraz Island & Muir Woods). Activities vary by week and include trail work, plant propagation, and habitat restoration.

In addition, students will get the opportunity to learn more about ecology and science. Each session kicks off with a four day service and adventure trip to Yosemite. There is no experience necessary to applyjust a desire for adventure, being part of a team, and trying new things!

Cost and Session Information

Does the program cost anything?The LINC program does not cost anything. Youth who complete the LINC program will receive an educational award of $1000. All gear and meals will be provided for the overnight camping trips.

How do I apply?The application window for LINC 2015 has closed. Please check again in early February for access to the LINC 2016 application.
