Based in the Royal Burgh of St Andrews, the home of golf and the oldest seat of learning in Scotland, ISSOS St Andrews provides a unique environment for our students' international summer experience.
St Andrews in Scotland is a fascinating town internationally renowned as the home of golf and every year, thousands of golfers and tourists travel to St Andrews to behold the world famous Old Course and Royal and Ancient Golf Club and to experience and admire some of the most famous golf courses in the world.
St Andrews is also home to Scotland’s oldest university, founded in 1412. The elegant, ivy-clad buildings and delightful quadrangles and gardens of St Andrews University have seen a procession of famous graduates, including John Knox and John Napier – and, more recently, Prince William.
Students choose from a variety of academic and elective subjects that are taught by highly qualified professionals and benefit from a full activities, cultural trips and workshops program. In addition students are well supervised by a team of summer school counselors who make sure students are safe and happy at all times as well as making sure the summer school is fun, full of laughter and that all students make friends from around the world.
