Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey operates three camps - two day camps (Camp DeWitt in Hillsborough and The OVAL in South Orange/Maplewood) and a sleepaway camp (Camp Hoover in Sussex County). We look for summer staff and interns to support our camp programs - counselors, unit leads, specialists, lifeguards, admin staff and more!
We strive to provide camps and programs that build campers' leadership, confidence, independence, and community. Our camps are committed to providing opportunities for Girl Scouts in our council and beyond, creating and connecting a diverse sisterhood that helps campers unlock their potential and discover the world all while developing life skills and making memories and friendships that last a lifetime. All three of our camps offer archery, arts and crafts, teambuilding, STEM activities, outdoor skills and more. Participating in fun activities outside will show you how much fun it can be to unplug and explore the world around you.
