Dolphin Research Center's Teen DolphinLab courses are seven-day programs that include a unique blend of seminars, observation time, and hands-on activities with the dolphins and prove that learning can be fun!
There are three courses for teens aged 15-17. Teen Basic is a prerequisite for Teen Intermediate and Teen Marine Mammal Care and Basic Training.
The cost includes all meals and activities, including field trips. Students stay in the Dolphin Research Center dormitory located near to our main facility. Teen students are under adult supervision at all times, including overnight.
Founded in 1984, Dolphin Research Center is a world-renowned, nonprofit marine mammal education and research facility. Home to a family of bottlenose dolphins and California sea lions, through education, research and rescue, Dolphin Research Center promotes peaceful coexistence between marine mammals, humans and the environment we share with the well being of DRC's animals taking precedence.
Dolphin Research Center is a fully accredited member of the Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks and Aquariums and the International Marine Animal Trainers Association.
