The Cooper Union Summer STEM Program immerses students in hands-on design, engineering, and problem-solving, thereby placing them on the right track for careers in innovation and leadership in technology.
Summer STEM 2021 Online will offer three-week programs in design and engineering that meet four days per week for students currently in 9th through 11th grade. Classes include synchronous and asynchronous learning. Session 1 is July 6 - 22 and Session 2 is July 26 - August 12.
The classes are: Design and Drawing for Engineering, Climate Change and Data Visualization, Medicine and Machine Learning, Robotics Crash Course, Water Quality Research and Design, and Project Gateway (addressing urban planning). Each student will receive a CU@Home Kit with supplies for their class.
Full and Partial Scholarships are available.
Students who attend the program and successfully complete the assignments will receive a certificate of completion from The Cooper Union.
