    Overview

Camp Sagemont’s CIT (Counselor in Training) Program helps qualified students prepare for positions as camp counselors or recreation leaders. This program helps students develop the skills required for success in college and beyond. Emphasis is placed upon developing leadership skills, sensitivity to children, and program skills. Each week, participants receive hands-on training, including strategies to implement with students in the cabins and during activities.
