    Overview

This summer, your child can be a star while learning about professional theater! Participants may act, dance, sing, make costumes, design sets, and let their creativity shine. This session ends with a daytime and evening performance, and everyone has a role in each show.

Middle School Drama is all about learning the nuances of theater - from 6th graders who read and perform several short plays and sections of full-length dramas, to 8th graders that put on a fully staged production - students learn to project their voice, rehearse lines and scenes, and accomplish polished productions - together.

Students will receive a DVD copy of the production and a CD of professional head shots taken over the course of the program. Previous musical performances have included, Little Mary Sunshine, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Once on This Island, Aladdin, and Cinderella.
