Visitation Academy is a community of students, religious, faculty, staff, parents and alumnae that exists to educate children and young women and to receive and share Jesus as Mary did in her visitation to Elizabeth.
Founded in 1833 by the Sisters of the Visitation, the Academy is rich in tradition and has a long-standing reputation for providing academic excellence in the Catholic tradition. Visitations values-driven educational system is as relevant for the 21st century as it was for the 19th.
In fidelity to the spirit of St. Francis de Sales and St. Jane de Chantal, our students thrive in an environment that encourages the development of each individual while also fostering an awareness of the broader community's needs. Adult and youth alike strive to "Live Jesus" and emulate the "little virtues" integral to our Salesian spirit: joy, humility, simplicity, reverence and respect.
