Overview

Located on 117 acres in West Roxbury, Roxbury Latin is a small, independent day school for boys in grades 7 to 12, founded by John Eliot in 1645 to fit [students] for public service both in church and commonwealth in succeeding ages.

Roxbury Latin is committed to the ethical formation and rigorous academic training of each boy entrusted to us. Roxbury Latins comparatively low tuition and its policy to admit and enroll boys without regard to their parents ability to pay ensures a richly diverse student body. We care most of all what kind of person a boy is, and promise to know and love each boy.
