    Overview

    CCA Pre-College is a summer program designed to help young creatives develop their skills and experience what it’s like to attend an art and design college. Current high school students aged 15-18 by summer are eligible to apply.  Join our supportive and inspiring community!

    • Earn three college credits
    • Develop portfolio pieces for college applications
    • Live and learn on campus in San Francisco

    Need-based scholarships and a limited number of highly competitive merit scholarships are available. Scholarship applications will open soon.

    Students select one of the following studio concentrations: 3D Fine Arts & Craft (Ceramics, Sculpture, and Textiles)|Animation & Drawing (2D|Architecture & Interior Design|Fashion Design|Film & Photography|Game Arts & Design|Graphic Design|Illustration & Drawing|Industrial & Product Design| Jewelry & Metal Arts|Painting & Drawing|UI/UX Interaction Design 

    Cost and Session Information

    Residential Pre-College Student: ~$7,755

    • Nonrefundable Application Fee — $55
    • Tuition for In-Person Pre-College Students — $5,200 ($500 nonrefundable tuition deposit and all studio supplies, field trips, and lab fees are included in this cost)
    • Housing — Double Room estimate $1,600-$1,700
    • Meal plans — $900-$1000

    Commuter Pre-College Student: ~$6,605

    • Nonrefundable Application Fee — $55 (nonrefundable)
    • Tuition for In-Person Pre-College Students — $5,200 ($500 nonrefundable tuition deposit and all studio supplies, field trips, and lab fees are included in this cost)
    • Commuter Student Meal Plan — $350 (required, lunch only)
