Marie launched TeenLife Media in 2007 after moving to Boston with her husband and two middle school sons and discovering that there were no information resources for families with older children. She got started by selling a printed "TeenLife Guide to Summer in Boston" to parents in area schools - the first edition listed 240 local summer programs for students in grades 7-12. Today, TeenLife's award-winning website lists thousands of summer and gap year programs, schools, college admission resources, and volunteer opportunities for teens, nationwide. Marie has worked for McKinsey, American Express, Scudder Stevens & Clark, and Nelson Publications (a financial publisher) in marketing, business development, and "intrapreneur" roles. She graduated from the American School in Paris, holds a BSE from Princeton, and received an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Rachel joined TeenLife in 2016 bringing a variety of experiences in both client management and support roles. A recent graduate of Northeastern University, Rachel holds a BA in International Affairs and History. While in college, she studied abroad in Argentina and Brazil which taught her the importance of cultural exchange and engagement for fostering personal growth. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys traveling (especially any place warm!), trying new foods, and spending time with friends and family.
Susan is an award-winning editor and writer with more than 35 years experience with the Cape Cod Times, Boston Herald, Boston Globe, PrimeTime Magazine, and other publications. She holds a bachelor's in political science from Occidental College in Los Angeles and a master's in journalism from Boston University. She was an International Center for Journalists World Affairs Fellow for reporting on Brazilian immigration and has directed coverage on topics ranging from great white sharks to law enforcement. She lives on Cape Cod, has three children and is a veteran of the boarding school, gap year and college admissions processes.
Senior Account Manager
Christine is a senior accounts manager specializing in marketing consultation and advertising sales. Before joining TeenLife in May of 2014, as a visionary entrepreneur, she had founded and built six successful businesses and was responsible in the development of multi-millions in sales revenues. She was successful in selling three of those companies. With her daughter grown, she began looking for a unique enterprise to utilize her marketing and sales talents and love of working. Outside of working her interests are spending time with her daughter, traveling, and spending time by the ocean.
Jillian joined the TeenLife team in 2015. She received her BA in Anthropology from Millersville University. During her time there, she developed and designed her own study abroad program where she spent 6 months at the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain. She has worked with teens in various aspects including being a Big Sister in Big Brothers Big Sisters, a middle school lacrosse coach, and in various volunteer programs and summer camps. Outside of work, you will find her at any number of sporting events where she studies sports and culture.
Client Success Manager
Maddie moved to Boston in 2016 and joined TeenLife in 2017. A recent graduate of Middlebury College in Vermont, Maddie holds a degree in Psychology and Education. While in college, she played lacrosse for the Panthers, ending her collegiate career a NCAA Division III Champion. Maddie also had the privilege to study education and pedagogy while abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. Prior to TeenLife, Maddie interned for myStrength, Inc., a digital behavioral health startup, where she worked on creating a mental health app for teens and college kids. Outside of work, Maddie enjoys running around the Charles River Esplanade, coaching lacrosse, traveling (especially places with good hikes), and spending time with friends and family.
Senior Software Developer
Cliff joined TeenLife in 2017 and is our technical software expert. Cliff is experienced in full-stack development and is a backend wizard.
Punit is a proud engineer having pursued a BS in Computer Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and User Interaction Design at UC San Diego. During his time at WPI, Punit participated in mentorship programs coaching high school and college students. As the technology manager, Punit is accustomed to wearing multiple hats and tackling complex technical projects. Outside of the office, Punit volunteers at a local nursing home providing computer assistance and IT support to the elderly.
Conner Reed recently graduated from Boston University with a BS in journalism, and is thrilled to be a part of the TeenLife team. When he’s not in the office, he writes about film, theatre, and pop culture, and produces a podcast about intergenerational exchange in American minority communities.
