    Overview

Living Coast Discovery Center's mission is to inspire the community to connect with and care for our coastal environment.

From seasonal wildlife camps, high school volunteer and internship opportunities, and outreach programs, The Living Coast connects thousands of children in the San Diego community with wildlife and provides science-based education.

Volunteer and internship opportunities are offered throughout the year for ages 16+.  Wildlife camps are offered in summer, fall, winter, and spring. Keeper 101 programs are offered at various times throughout the year.
