Volunteers are at the heart of everything the VNA does. A kind word from a volunteer may be the only human contact many of our clients have all day. Your time makes a difference.
Deliver a nutritious lunch meal to isolated, homebound, disabled, ill, and elderly individuals in Dallas County. Ongoing volunteers needed at lunchtime once a week or once a month (Monday - Friday). Time commitment 2 hours per route delivery. Volunteer application, background check, and 1.5 hours training required. Trainings held every first and third Thursday from 10:30am to 11:30 am at 1440 W. Mockingbird Lane Dallas, TX 75247. RSVP required for training. Training also by appointment.
