    Overview

Community Partners of Dallas is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring safety and restoring dignity and hope to abused and neglected children by providing resources and support to the caseworkers of Dallas County Child Protective Services.

THANKs (Teens Helping Abused and Neglected Kids) is our volunteer program at Community Partners of Dallas that is giving teens the opportunity to learn about nonprofit operations, issues facing our community and participate in community service that will change the lives of children in their own community.

THANKs supports Community Partners of Dallas in its endeavors to safeguard and support our community’s abused and neglected children by providing resources to the caseworkers of Child Protective Services (CPS).

As a member of THANKs, you will be given the education and tools to make an immediate impact and help improve the lives of CPD children. The mission of THANKs includes becoming educated on the issues CPS and the abused and neglected children face to better educate our community, learning about nonprofit operations as well as participating in community service opportunities that are a part of CPD’s ongoing activities.
