    Overview

Ride On is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of children and adults with disabilities through a unique combination of equine related therapy, recreation and fun.

Volunteers are vital to the program and without them we don’t ride! No previous experience with horses or disabilities is necessary – you will be taught everything you need to know. To show our volunteers how much we appreciate them, 50 hours of volunteer work you will earn a series of free riding lessons!

We would LOVE to have your help as a volunteer! To get started, come out to our ranch on a day and time that we're here (based on the schedule below), and see our Office Manager Nancy, or the Head Instructor on site, to fill out our application and observe a lesson or two. Once that's done, you can start volunteering right away if you'd like! The minimum age for volunteering in the arena with our riders is 14. Prospective volunteers between the ages of 12 and 14 are welcome and encouraged to volunteer in the barn with our horses.
