    Overview

    The mission of Food & Friends is to foster a community caring for men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-challenging illnesses by preparing and delivering specialized meals and groceries in conjunction with nutrition counseling.

    Food & Friends is looking for new volunteers, and this is the first step in getting there! We host multiple New Volunteer Orientations via Zoom every month to begin the onboarding process of our volunteers and to ultimately get them started volunteering with us, whether that be in our kitchen or delivering meals! You can get started in just a few steps!

    Organization Description:

    Food & Friends is the ONLY organization in the region providing home-delivered meals and groceries to children and adults battling HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-challenging illnesses. Six days a week, our clients receive meals that are nutritionally specialized to meet their individual health needs. Our services are free of charge and based solely on the health status of those in need. With the help of more than 10,000 volunteers and thousands of generous donors, more than 1.2 million meals are delivered each year.
