The North Carolina Therapeutic Riding Center (NCTRC) empowers children and adults with physical, mental, emotional and social challenges to create more active, healthy and fulfilling lives through equine assisted activities and therapies.
No experience with either horses or individuals with disabilities is necessary to volunteer as we provide our own orientation and training sessions. Volunteers must be at least 15 years old, because they serve a critical role to keep our clients safe during sessions.
