Montgomery Parks seeks to protect and interpret our valuable natural and cultural resources. We aim to balance the demand for recreation with the need for conservation; offer a variety of enjoyable recreational activities that encourage healthy lifestyles; and provide clean, safe, and accessible places for leisure-time activities.

Montgomery Parks welcomes and encourages student volunteers! Every year students from our local schools contribute thousands of hours of service to projects and events in our parks.

Make a positive impact on the community, Help preserve our natural and cultural resources for future generations, Partake in a memorable, enriching experience, and have donated more than 80,000 hours of volunteer service annually.

We have opportunities for individuals, families, students, business, scouts, and virtually anyone else who is looking for a fun way to give back to our community.  Whether you’re looking for a one-time service project, helping at one of our events, or looking to take on a long-term position, the Volunteer Services Office (VSO) is here to help!
