Massachusetts Housing and Shelter Alliance

The Massachusetts Housing and Shelter Alliance (MHSA) is a non-profit public policy advocacy organization with the singular mission of ending homelessness in the Commonwealth.

MHSA often receives calls from people experiencing homelessness or people very close to homelessness - and we are looking for volunteers to help callers understand and access the various resources available to them. As a MHSA volunteer, you can expect to receive call training as well as training on the different resources, programs and organizations centered around homelessness prevention and emergency assistance.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to understand shelter and housing models, as well as for someone looking to gain experience in both direct service and research.
