    Overview

At Martha’s Table, we believe every child, regardless of zip code, should have the opportunity to thrive. We stand firmly alongside Washingtonians day-in and day-out on both sides of the Anacostia River by operating nationally accredited education programs, pairing healthy food access with physical and mental health services, and promoting family success by investing in family leaders.

    To support this, we provide:

    • We are supporting families by assisting with groceries, food prep, and food distribution.
    • Martha's outfitters needs volunteers to help with sorting donations, keeping the store clean, and hanging merchandise.

Volunteers between the ages of 12-14 must bring one adult chaperone for every three volunteers. Some opportunities require volunteers to be at least 15 years of age.

There are several opportunities for individuals and groups to volunteer in our Northwest and Southeast D.C. locations. For more information on how to sign up and specific opportunities, visit our website!
