    Overview

Long Key encompasses some of the most significant archaeological, historical, and ecological resources in the county, as the area was inhabited by the ancient Tequestas and the more modern Seminoles.

Archaeology, history, and ecology converge at this park, which opened in 2008 and features nature and equestrian trails, an exhibit hall, and a large rental facility popular for weddings and other large group functions.
