    Overview

    Our mission is to feed the hungry, comfort the afflicted, seek justice for the homeless, and provide a sense of hope and opportunity to those in need. We serve a cafeteria-style lunch, Brown Bag Lunch program, Backpack Pantry Program, Sunday Supper, and social services initiatives. We’ve also become food waste prevention advocates.

    Each weekday, rain or snow, an average 1,000 hungry and homeless New Yorkers receive a freshly cooked meal at the city’s largest soup kitchen. From packing lunches to serving a hot meal, distributing pantry bags of food to passing out haircut vouchers, it is our volunteers who enable us to be here for our guests.
