    Overview

    Habitat for Humanity of South Collin County is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. Our vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

    Youth 16 & up may volunteer in ReStore after attending orientation with parent. All Volunteers must have attended an Orientation AND signed a waiver. Applicable Age Restrictions are: Youth 14 -17 years must have a parent or guardian with them on all tasks including orientation. Youth 14 -15 can landscape, paint, or lot clean. Youth 16 -17 cannot use power tools, work from a height of over 6 feet or other ultra-hazardous tasks. Youth 16 & up may volunteer in ReStore after attending orientation with parent. Youth under the age of 14 are not allowed on the construction work site. Volunteer Sign-ups Please sign-up for the day/time you want to volunteer by contacting the Habitat Volunteer Coordinator, or if you are with a group, your group coordinator. You must have a signed waiver form on file, if you are under 18 (ages 14 -17, inclusive) the waiver must also be signed by parent or guardian. If you are under 18 a parent/guardian must work on site with you.
