    Overview

Face to Face’s began in 1984, after the members of St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church began cooking hot meals for their Germantown neighbors who were food insecure. Over the years, as the hardships became more apparent, we have responded to those needs organically, and today we offer a One Stop Shop of free services such as our meals program, legal center, health center, and social services center.

We accept volunteers who need to complete community service for school, extracurricular programs.

Every Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, dedicated volunteers give their time to help Face to Face guests. Some volunteers prepare or serve meals, some help in the Legal Center, Health Center, Social Services Center or in our computer lab.  Some others give their time to our Auction or Turkey Trot fundraisers. We rely on the energy and enthusiasm of many volunteers each week to make a difference in Germantown. Often times, when a need arises, volunteers are ready to jump in to help! Online opportunities are also available.
