    Overview

Citymeals on Wheels is a New York-based organization that provides a continuous lifeline of nutritious food and human company to homebound older New Yorkers in need, thereby helping them to live with dignity in their own familiar homes and communities.

We welcome volunteers of all ages. If a person under the age of 16 would like to deliver meals, he or she must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers must be 18 or older to participate in our Social Call Program. From delivering meals to making social calls, Citymeals offers volunteer opportunities to suit all types of schedules and interests.

We have established a network of compassionate individual, corporate and community group volunteers who ensure homebound older New Yorkers receive a continuous lifeline of nourishment and companionship.
