    Overview

Ironstone Farm's mission is to provide therapeutic, educational, and recreational opportunities using the resources of the farm and its environment to help all involved experience joy and enhanced quality of life.

Challenge Unlimited provides a variety of services for people with and without disabilities, using horses and the wholesome environment of a working farm, while involving people in serving others through volunteering. Volunteers lead horses while clients receive therapy on a horse or sidewalk along side assisting the instructor or therapist. Sidewalkers help provide stability to the rider. Ironstone Farm is interested in all who are willing to give their time in exchange for a rewarding and fun experience. Aside from being fun, volunteering provides the opportunity to receive rewarding personal experiences, fulfill community service requirements, learn new things, engage in beneficial exercise and even develop lifelong friendships. The minimum age to volunteer is 13 (sorry, no exceptions).
