The mission of Be the Star You Are! a non-profit corporation is to improve literacy, increase positive media messages, and provide tools for daily living by empowering women, families, and youth. We grow people!
The Be the Star You Are!® Book Review Program is geared for teens who love to read and write. Our Teen STAR Book Reviewers read whatever books they choose, then write an honest one-page book review on how they liked or disliked the book. These reviews offer parents, librarians, teachers, guardians, and other people an idea of what books would be good for what age level. Reviews are published at www.BTSYA.org and reviewers receive 3 hours of community service credit for each review. Guidelines are provided.
