Sr. Maureen OConnell created Angela House in 2001 with the help of a community of supporters drawn to the mission of this ministry: to successfully transition women into society after incarceration.
Angela House benefits from outstanding support from the Houston community. With an abundance of goodness, community groups and individuals volunteer to help us maintain our facility, run our office and provide activities for our residents. We also allow visits from resident family members as well as tours of Angela House for individuals who would like to see more of what we do in action.
