    Overview

Wyonegonic Camps, established in 1902, has been providing a resident camp experience for girls ages 8 to 18 for seven generations. Wyonegonic is composed of three separate camps designed to fit the individual needs and interest of the campers forming its own close-knit community that is small enough to kindle deep friendships.

Wyonegonic is a camp where girls learn about themselves in a non-competitive atmosphere and enjoy the beauty of friendship in the simplicity of the outdoors. The Wyonegonic Program offers flexibility within a general structure. Waterfront and outdoor activities dominate a program that offers a wide range of traditional camp activities. Cabin life is rustic and simple and our seven hundred acres of pine forest and two miles of shoreline offers campers a sense of privacy and isolation. The camp program offers the opportunity for out of camp day and multi night hiking and canoe trips.  Horseback riding, creative arts, target sports, tennis, a climbing wall and high ropes course compliment the offerings. There is palnned free time for simply absorbing the beauty of the surroundings with friends. Evening programs each night offer the unit a chance for fun and laughter, creativity and entertainment. Special events and traditions weave through our program to keep camp life active, varied and most of all…FUN!
