    WWU Equestrian Academic Camp offers serious equestrians ages 15-18 a unique and rigorous experience. Students with established riding proficiency in hunter-jumper, saddle seat, western or dressage will practice ground training techniques and experience a variety of horses to hone their riding skills. The academic track that accompanies the hands-on learning in our equestrian complex includes instruction in equine first aid, equine competition and an introduction to teaching riding

Your days will wrap up with an equestrian film series and faculty-facilitated discussion that compliments the riding, training and classroom skills learned during camp. The Equestrian Academic Camp experience is ideal for high school students who are interested in pursuing a career in the horse industry.
