    Overview

    In Summer 2023, Wheaton Pre-College offers a selection of courses through a four-week commuter program that allows students to experience college-level study on campus and return to the comfort of home. You’ll use our considerable facilities and resources, from art studios to technology and fabrication labs, learn from exceptional faculty and collaborate with like-minded peers. You’ll come away with polished work in your portfolio, a great experience and college credit.

    The program presents opportunity for high school students to start exploring their options for college studies and prepare for the transition to undergraduate life. Classes run Monday through Thursday in 3-hour sessions, either in the morning or afternoon. Students can choose to take one course for a half-day experience or two courses for a full day academic immersion.

    Courses being offered this summer include: Animation Studio Drawing Studio Innovation in Business and Entrepreneurship Innovation in Digital Fabrication On Fridays, students can work independently or with peers in the studios, labs and classrooms during open learning time. Also, on Fridays, students attend workshops and campus info sessions that prepare you for college life. Topics covered provide advice on College Application Essay Writing, Time Management and Study/Life balance. Come to Wheaton College and create something that inspires you this summer!
