    Overview

Summer Art Camp at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey helps campers take advantage of the wellness benefits of art-making, including boosted self-confidence and improved social and emotional wellbeing, all while providing a fun and creative camp experience.

At the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, we believe in the power of art to inspire, amaze, and enrich. We are the state’s largest institution dedicated exclusively to viewing, making, and learning about contemporary art and have been recognized as a leading arts institution for more than 80 years.

We offer two opportunitites for teens, a full-day program and a half-day digital art program.

TEEN ART CAMP (AGES 13 +)

Teen Art Camp is geared towards the more mature aspiring artist. Each week students will work on several projects in various media including painting, drawing, ceramics, screenprinting and fiber arts, and digital media.

    Half-Day Digital Summer Art Camp

This camp offering is perfect for campers looking to expand their skills in the ever-evolving field of digital arts. This small-group camp will take place in our specially equipped digital arts studio. Due to the limited nature of this camp, each week will be repeated to accommodate more students. This program offers three weeks of programming: Digital Arts, Photography & Digital Photo Editing, and Digital Graphic Design.
