    Overview

The University of Rochester's pre-college academic enrichment programs enable high school students to design their educational plans, study only what interests them, and let their passions drive them to pursue their passions while exploring college life up close and personal.

Pre-College Programs make it possible for several hundred students from across the country and around the globe to explore the University and its resources through credit and noncredit courses. Numerous academic options are availble to meet your needs.

Our full-day programs are three weeks in length, focusing on healthcare. Full-day programs are open to rising 11th through rising 12th graders.

Half-day programs are offered for one or two weeks and give students the opportunity to choose from a variety of disciplines to mix and match their interests. Students can apply to up to two half-day programs, one morning program and one afternoon program. Half-day programs are open to rising 9th through rising 12th graders.

Our credit courses for rising 11th and 12th-graders allow high school students to earn college credit and study among Rochester undergraduates. Courses are offered during the University’s fall, spring, and summer semesters, and credits are transferable to most colleges and universities.
