    Overview

Summer is on our minds at Precollegiate Programs, and we cannot wait to welcome rising 1st - 6th grade students to Mini College 2025 and our rising 7th - 8th grade students to Horizons 2025. Our programs are designed to engage students in fields of study while on campus at the University of Oklahoma.

Every student has the opportunity to see and experience what college life is like by attending programs on the University of Oklahoma campus.

Summer programs include day and residential options depending on the program.

    1st - 6th grade:

OU Mini College Day Camp is an all-day program designed for students entering first through sixth grade, who are interested in building their knowledge of the world around them. Students attend three 1.5 hour classes each day and end their day at the OU swimming pool. Students are grouped by grade levels and attend three different classes daily. Each of the nine weeks of the program offers a different curriculum allowing students to learn more about the programs offered by the university.

Horizons for rising 7th & 8th grade students:

Horizons is our summer program designed to immerse rising 7th–8th grade students in the fields of Engineering and Fine Arts. In collaboration with OU faculty and staff, students will experience college life firsthand by engaging in courses on campus, gaining insight into the collegiate experience through the lens of a college student.
