    Overview

University of Chicago's Young Scholars Program offers local, Chicago area students (7th to 12th grade) with aptitude in mathematics. Students from outside of the area may apply but will need to find accommodations. This four-week virtual-camp is highly selective and is open for students who score high in mathematics in school, enjoy math competitions, or just find math to be a great subject.

Those applying to the YSP will need to submit an application, a short essay, a complete teacher questionnaire, a recommendation letter from a current math teacher, and a transcript/grade report.

Since the program is highly competitive, once accepted you must be able to attend all four weeks of the program. To find out more on how to apply and program costs, check out our website!
