Dive into Marine Science with UNCW MarineQuest!
Discover the amazing world of modern marine science while exploring beautiful coastal habitats with our university-based summer academic enrichment programs.
Experience applied marine biology, chemistry, geology, physics, engineering and biotechnology while conducting field-based scientific investigations at the marsh, beach, fouling docks, and on a research vessel.
Start developing the skills and tools you will need to become a modern marine scientist by participating in laboratory and field-based research while enjoying various water sports to enhance your learning, including fishing, kayaking, snorkeling, boogie boarding, and scuba diving. All campers will contribute to a coastal community service project to give back to the marine environment. Past projects have included removing marine debris, building a living seashore, and monitoring plankton.
To ensure a quality experience, we have created a variety of different summer and school-year programs that are suited for appropriate ages, academic standing, and maturity levels. Check out our website to find a program that is right for you!
