    Overview

The Teen Film Camp, offered by the United Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Barbara in partnership with the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, is a free, 6-day overnight summer program for youth 13-16 at Camp Whittier. Participants must be members of the United Boys & Girls Clubs.

Teens all across Santa Barbara County come to our summer camp program where they have the opportunity to:

Participate in a free, 6-day overnight film camp for youth ages 12-16

Take classes from film experts and learn the craft of filmmaking.

Develop, direct, and edit your story to make your own movie.

Participate in team-building activities and movie nights with other campers.

Present your film to family and friends at the mini-film festival!

The goal is to introduce the teens to the world of film making through instruction and hands on experience creating their own short movie! The movie will be shown on the last night of camp and you are invited to come view all their hard work and creativity put into making their own movie.
