The Thurgood Marshall Summer Law Internship Program connects diverse NYC public high school students with legal employers each summer. The program starts in the spring with our pre-employment workshops, followed by a six to 8-week intership which begins following the intern’s last day of school.
TMSLIP is a paid summer internship program lasting 6 – 8 weeks. The employer partners are the employers of the student participants, not the NYC Bar Association. This program supports the Association's commitment to increasing diversity in the legal profession.
