    ACE Counselor Apprentice Program

    • Entering Grades 10-12

The Counselor Apprentice Program is a summer long program in which participating students learn the skills required for working at a summer camp. Each apprentice will spend time interacting with campers, developing programs, assisting camp leaders in preparing for camp programming, and helping with other camp-related duties. Apprentices may occasionally participate in off-site adventures during training or over the summer.

All new apprentices must attend the one week training program each day (returning apprentices need not participate in this training). Following training, each apprentice must volunteer a minimum of 35 hours at camp over the remainder of the summer. Apprentices will work with the Apprentice Lead to create their own volunteer schedule.
