    Overview

    Welcome to CU Science Discovery, a (STEM) education outreach program at the University of Colorado Boulder. Science Discovery manages programs that engage K-12 students in STEM here at CU Boulder. Science Discovery programs utilize CU scientific expertise, equipment, resources and faculty, graduate and undergraduate students in order to provide participants with unique, experiential STEM learning experiences.

    CU Science Discovery offers a variety of hands-on summer STEM experiences for grades K-12. Our STEM camps and classes are designed to inspire creativity and a thirst for knowledge. Participating in a Science Discovery summer program gives you peace of mind that your child will spend part of their summer in an environment that fosters growth.

    Non-credit STEM Academies are open to all high school students, including rising 9th graders. Taught by CU Boulder faculty and graduate students, these week-long programs are designed for highly motivated high school students looking to delve deeper into a specific STEM field. STEM Academies include experiential learning projects, lab work, field trips and group discussions designed to expose participants to different STEM topics and careers.
