    Overview

The Repair The World Teen Service Corps is a 3-6 week service learning program with cohorts in Harlem and Brooklyn. Throughout the program rising 9th through 12th graders will create an amazing teen community of changemakers, learn about social justice through a Jewish and interfaith lens, and volunteer to make NYC a more equitable place for all.

Receive 80 Community Service Hours by volunteering in various neighborhoods to promote food and housing justice, and combat social isolation. Volunteering will follow strict COVID safety compliance guidelines and may pivot to a partial or full virtual format.

What Former Corps Members have to say!

“It was inspiring to be a part of a group of teens who truly seemed to care.”

“I loved that this program was educational but not in a stressful type of way like school is.”

“This program not only introduced me to the issues but it gave me an opportunity to personally make a difference.”

“I feel a lot more proud to be a Jew right now, probably the proudest I have felt in my life.”

“When it ended, it felt kind of like camp was ending."

Applications received on a rolling basis. Within 1-2 days of completion of the application you will receive a link to process the $30 nonrefundable application fee, which will be counted toward the total program cost. This application will not be considered complete until the application fee is processed. You will also be directed to a payment page to process the sliding scale program fee. We do not want cost to be a barrier to participation. If you need assistance please reach out to discuss waiving the program fee or receiving a scholarship. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
